Define Voice and Tone

You are establishing the voice, tone, and writing standards for a design system. Your output is a `VOICE_AND_TONE.md` document that becomes the persistent writing reference for the project — the equivalent of a content design system's `DESIGN.md`.
**Step 1 — Read the living brief:**
Read `LIVING_BRIEF.md` from the project root. Note:
- Product type and audience
- Brand stance (expressive ↔ utilitarian)
- Density (content-dense / content-sparse / balanced)
- Any existing voice or brand personality notes
If no living brief exists, ask the user to run `establish-context` first, or provide the project context below.
**Step 2 — Read the references:**
Read the following from the Sistema knowledge base:

- Writing mechanics: `{{sistema_url}}/raw/principles/content/writing-mechanics`
These three documents synthesize content design guidance from MailChimp, Shopify Polaris, Carbon (IBM), and Atlassian. The voice-and-tone synthesis defines the cross-system baseline (plainspoken, genuine, helpful, direct), the brand-specific trait model, and the tone-adjustment framework by emotional context. The UI copy patterns document covers buttons, navigation, form labels, error messages, empty states, and confirmation dialogs — each with production-grounded do/don't examples. The writing mechanics document covers capitalization (sentence case everywhere), punctuation (periods, Oxford comma, exclamation marks), numbers, active voice, second-person address, reading level, and the lean content rule. Treat all three as the foundation — your output extends them with product-specific decisions, not replaces them.
**Step 3 — Generate VOICE_AND_TONE.md:**

Rules:
- Draw specific character traits from the project context and living brief — do not use generic placeholder values
- The voice label should be memorable and specific, not "friendly and professional"
- The tone adjustment table must include 4–6 rows with contexts specific to this product's UI flows
- The words table must include at least 5 rows drawn from the product's domain vocabulary
- Use the cross-system mechanics defaults unless the project context gives a clear reason to deviate
- Output raw markdown only — no surrounding explanation
**Step 4 — Update the living brief:**
Append to the Decision Log in `LIVING_BRIEF.md`:
